What's the plan for 2009? Anything you plan on doing differently?

Normally I'm not one for resolutions, they irritate me. I was hesitant to even type the word up there in the subject line, but I have a few areas that I need to work on and I figure the new year is as good a time to start as any.

For me, I plan on dropping some of the fat that clings to my body. I was skinny for a few months once. It was a nice feeling. I had energy, I didn't have trouble tying my shoe. It was a good time.

I also planning on being more friendly... Less of an a*****e. I've mentioned it before, but I get into some serious bouts of depression. I get way words when I'm depressed, and it only perpetuates the depression, keeps it going deeper and deeper. I think if I were more positive I'd be less depressed. For those of you who have been on the recieving end of my grumpyness, I'm sorry. I'm trying to fix it. This is not to say that I won't still be a total ass, I'll just be less bitter... Hopefully.

And... That's it I guess. Those two are gonna take some serious work, so that'll have to do for now.

My new year resolution is to stop downvoting everything DEP posts.

2008 has sucked major ass for many, many reasons. I am SO glad that we're almost finished with this hellacious year.

That having been said, I'm trying to not have any expectations about 2009, mainly so I won't be disappointed.

The only New Year's resolution I have made to myself is that after the first of the year, I'm cutting all this hair off and starting over. I'll chop it off to a short little spiky cut and THIS time as it grows out I'll treat it better. No tearing through it with a brush 10 minutes before I leave the house, no letting it tangle up for too long and then having to rip through knotty places.
I'll treat it like gold.

I don't usually make resolutions either. I do plan to keep my mouth shut in the forum about things I think inappropriate. The masses have spoken and I'm the odd man out there. The only other thing I can think of is my plan to win the California lottery. *good idea for a thread, DEP*

Win the lottery. Hey that's a good idea, I think I'll try that too.

2009 IS going to be a great year for me.
I'm going to move to a new place, far from here.
A new home, a new job, a new life.

And if you think I'm running away from something, you'd be wrong. I'm running toward something.

So my resolution is...to do it, I guess.

Keep trying to improve.

Improve my work skills.

Improve my health.

Reduce spending. Increase saving.

Improve me.

If you don't mind, I wanna keep that private for now.
But when it happens, you'll see lots of pictures.

Kay. But I'm still wishing you luck dammit. And you're just gonna have to deal with it.

Be more open and honest.
Work harder.
Bring up my gpa.
Be nicer to myself.

I suppose my resolution would be to stop chillin in front of plime and do stuff that needs to be done..

Also, I am trying to work on not being so sensitive, I know I'm not getting anywhere being upset over the small stuff.

Top of my list is to get me knocked up. That's right, I want to bring a little bundle of giggles into the world.

Until that happens, spend more time at the gym and cleaning my house (regularly).

And I'm also with gammerus- no more getting upset over small stuff.

2009 I plan on being more outgoing. More open to new ideas and such. Kinda like "Yes man!" Although I didn't see the movie yet.

I'll let ya know if I tucker my hubby out. ;)

I am going to make at least two puppets this year.

I want to:
1. Get closer to my degree
2. Be more outgoing
3. Be wiser with my money
4. Finally ask that person out.
