There really doesn't seem to be a whole lot of science going on there!
People see faces in all sorts of things, it's something our brains just do. Why someone seems to think that a few objects that resemble a face or a bad picture with light streaks or smoke is a ghost, I just don't know. To me, all this is no different than people who see Jesus in burnt toast and stuff.
Cute, but rather meaningless.
